Smooth walled spring plungers manufactured from stainless steel. Smooth Spring plungers can be pushed into a reamed mounting hole. The suggested tolerance for housing the plunger is H7. They have a flat bottom and shoulder. The plunger body is AISI 305 stainless steel the hardened stainless steel ball AISI 420C and the spring AISI 631.
Stainless steel, thanks to its high resistance to corrosion, allows the application of these smooth plungers on machines and equipment in those sectors where laws or particular hygienic, climatic and environmental factors make it mandatory to use corrosion resistant materials.
