The Boneham Motorsport Story
Our Pedigree
From 1921 to 1939, we produced thousands of reconditioned motor engines for the automotive and motorsport industry. Building a great understanding of each component in the process. Before too long, we were commissioned to manufacture most of the components for E.R.A race engines. This includes Cylinder blocks, Crankcases, Cylinder heads, and Connecting rods.
Of course, the legendary owners of E.R.A, Reg Parnell and Raymond Mays became heavily involved in this process. They were constantly visiting us to build the most competitive engine possible. Our relationship became so strong with the drivers that Parnell, gave our founders son, Peter, a driving lesson in his brand-new Aston Martin. Somehow, the Aston emerged unscathed. Although the faint smell of a burnt clutch lingered in the air.
Today, we’ve stepped away from engine building to focus on composite alignment solutions, location pins, and shims for motorsport. We maintain the spirit of Parnell and Mays by building longstanding relationships and continuously driving quality and development. We persist in helping top motorsport teams push each other to their limits every season, by raising our standards further.
