Metric BS 8735 | ISO 8735 Type B Extractable Dowel Pins
ISO 8735 Extractable Dowels are designed with removal in mind. Where dowel pins are required for blind hole applications and removal is necessary ISO 8735 Extractable Dowel Pins can be removed easily. Boneham’s manufacture a dowel pin extractor tool available on the site to suit ISO 8735 dowel pins. Manufactured to BS 8735 / ISO 8735 Type B (Type A manufactured on request).
With double chamfers and blacked ends. Boneham’s manufacture 6mm and 8mm extractable dowel pins with smaller internal threads than the British Standard. This has been done for decades to prevent cracking during some applications by increasing the wall thickness.
