Position:Â Micro-precision Waterjet Setter & Operator

We are looking for an experienced Waterjet Setter & Operator to join our growing team, producing world-class components for some of the most demanding industries in the world; including Aerospace, Defence, Military, Motorsport and Formula One.

The Role
As a Micro-precision Waterjet Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for setting, programming, operating and optimising our stae-of-the-art machine to produce hhigh-precision components to exceptionally tight tolerances.
You will work with a variety of materials including:
- Titanium
- Aluminium
- Stainless Steel
- Tool steels
- Carbon fibre composites
- Plastics

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Setting and operating Micro Abrasive Waterjet systems
- Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and CAD data
- Producing components to extremely tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Conducting first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Selecting suitable cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses
- Troubleshooting machining and process issues
- Maintaining machine performance and supporting preventative maintenance activities
- Working to Aerospace, Defence and Motorsport quality requirements
- Driving continuous improvement in processes, productivity and quality
Essential
- Previous experience operating precision CNC or waterjet cutting machinery
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
- Experiance working to tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Quality focused approach with a commitment to delivering right-first time results
- Abiity to work independently and as part of a highly skilled engineering team
- Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport or Formula One manufacturing experience
- CAD/CAM programming knowledge
- Inspection experience using precision measuring equipment
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
This is not a high-volume production environment. Every day presents new engineering challenges and opportunities to work on complex components that push manufacturing capability to the limit.

Working hours are:
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pmFriday 8am - 1pm

Position:Â Cylindrical Grinder
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Boneham team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 5 years' experience in setting operating grinding machines
- Support the training of our Apprentices, to achieve a high level of skill
- Have a good understanding of grinding wheels, fluids and processes
- Be familiar with working with hardened steel and stainless steel
- Be able to work repeatedly to .0001" (2.5 μm)
- Manufacture to engineering drawings, with an ability to work to imperial and metric dimensions
- Work to ISO and AS9100 processes and procedures
- Be experienced in using verniers, micrometers
- Support the training of our Apprentices, to achieve a high level of skill
- Work to a production plan, whilst considering setting and planning efficiencies
- Have a keen eye for detail and take great pride in their work
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Be open to adopting lean methods
- Always consider health and safety risks
Working hours are:
- Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm
Friday 8am - 1pm
