CS4 Cold Rolled Steel 6" x 100" (CR4 / AISI 1010)
AISI 1010 is Cold Rolled Low Carbon Mild Steel that has good forming properties and straightforward to machine. Like CS4 it is traditionally used for cold forming, shim manufacture and fabrication.
What is CS4 Steel Shim Stock used for?
A great material for the manufacture of shims, washers, gaskets, fasteners, plates and brackets. CS4 / AIS 1010 is available in many thicknesses from 0.001” to 0.031" with standard tolerances. This stock is 6” x 100” rolled sheets and prepacked. Boneham manufactures custom shims to drawing of all shapes and sizes under our Shimpress brand.
