C1095 Blue Tempered Spring Steel Shim Pack
1095 Blue Tempered Spring Steel combines high tensile strength with maximum fatigue life. It is considered a high carbon steel and is known as spring steel 95.
Ideal for tool and die applications due to its toughness. Typically shims washers and plates but primarily springs are made from C1095.
1095 is similar to other carbon steel grades 1060 1075 and 1080. Equivalent grades are DIN 17222 which is also a type of spring strip.
