These A2 Stainless Steel Dowel Pins are made from A2 / 304 stainless steel and in an unhardened state as 300 series stainless cannot be thermal hardened. A2 stainless steel dowel pins are non-magnetic and resistant corrosion and oxidation. A2 / 304 can tarnish and is also less suitable for marine applications than 316 stainless (please see our 316 stainless dowel pins for such applications).
