Metric Dowel Pin ISO8734B with Air Release Flat.

Metric Dowel Pins with a flat are manufactured to ISO 8734 and feature an air release flat. Also known as a vented dowel or flatted dowel. The air release flat works as a air inlet to allow air to move freely in close tolerance applications, which aids both installation and extraction. The air release flat feature can also prevent any damage on entry. Like the plain metric DP34B, the ISO 8734 standard feature a dome end and chamfer end. 1mm to 3mm are unhardened but can be supplied hardened as a special item.

Specials can be manufactured to order with full traceability and AS9100 Rev D release if required.
